Premature Sexualization

You are on the dot about the the sexploitation of young girls. I would like to point out to you that Ekta Kapoor and her ilk could not make her serials if women/girls were not willing and ready either because of material gains or pressure from family to be successful. You have a Mallika Sherawat splashed all over and being discussed ad nauseum about her body and she enjoys it with great enthusiasm. If you have it you flaunt it.  Girls watch and think oh thats the way to be. Who is really guiding them at time.
If one has values ingrained in them to respect oneself and others, then it would not affect a teenager or a young person. But parents are equally guilty of being "progressive" for lack of a better word.
But your write up is thought provoking/

Killing Seven Beautiful Girls

There is no greater shame than trying to explain "dowry deaths", female infanticide, etc.
What can one say? Cost? Mothers are to blame. Yes.  Society? Fathers? We are all responsible and more so the doctors who commit murder every day every sec. Your blog is eloquent and will not be popular as it exposes our so called show of worshipping goddesses and calling girls "Lakshmi" as absolute sheer hypocrisy and shows the dark menacing attitude that exists against women in our society.
