A well annalysed write...You have raised a valid issue....I feel such people are metally sick ..........Health facilitiesd  being not up to mark in India  such people  dont  get the required treatment....More over  they do not want to disclose their   sickness    and even their families hide their disease....due to social  bindings...Secondly they dont get the  punishment  when they do such crimes....cases are prolonged and  justice is delayed..media trials  adds to the  agony of vitims......So  a lot need to be done to tackle such crimes........yash

thabadcat,

I agree with you.

The strong deterrents are missing in India.

The age old biases, norms and prejudices do contribute to the depressing scenarios. The females who report such acts are harassed to extreme limits.

It has been established by researches allover the world that repeated exposure to such acts in media does trigger similar behavior in some people, who have lesser control on their own acts.

It’s a very though provoking blog.

Warm regards,
