I have been meaning to post something about an article which made soooo much news a short while ago.
"Aishwarya Rai plays the perfect Bachchan Bahu" 
Apparently she made sure her "Pa" and (zzz boring) hubby "Pa"'s beta Abhishek had a good lunch on the sets of "sarkar raj"
Thank you Aishwarya for setting the women's movement or if there is any in India, many many paces behind.
Ekta Kapoor's tele serials..that claim(she does seriously see Koffee with Karan reruns) to depict "real women in real india"(shudders) and other "devrani" etc serials..reduce women to what? Wahi..glorified maidservants!!
And we thrive on it. "mere pati to ye bhi nahi jaante unke joote kahan hai" or " mere pati to mere haath ka khana khaye bagair nahi so sakte" 
Puhleez!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Recenltly saw a scene out of an inane film..
Salman khan's character says "Judge saab aadmi ko kya chahiye, kitchen me maa ki tarah khana banane wali biwi aur bedroom me girlfriend ki tarah pyaar karne wali biwi"
No wonder most of our men are confused! Kare bhi to kya kare...!!?
And what is this "khana banana, khana khilana" obsession?
"Suniye maine aaj gajar ka halwa banaya hai" "Beta maine aaj besan ke laddoo banaye hai"?
When will our women go beyond that? 
Ahem..sorry since we have Aishwarya Rai perpetuating the regressive stereotype, we are forever going to be subjected to this "perfect bahu" etc nonsense.
Women out there..dont get me wrong!
Please do cater to your man..go ahead..pamper him..spoil him..I am with you on this..but pleeeeeeeeeese. DONT MOTHER HIM.

Be brave..be strong say it..to HIM. Patidev ji..might, might get his own. 
Mothers out there..please dont treat your son as invalids..OKAY?

Amitabh Bachchan ensures Bahu Aishwarya gets a good lunch on the sets of "Sarkar Raj" Abhishek follows in father's footsteps!!! Hot off the press...!!!
Would have surely made a fan out of me for the Contrived Mahanayak AB and pudgy Jr.
Now let me go and make some gajar ka halva...no wait a minute..Aloo ke parathe...I see my better half..in the kitchen already..Soooooo sweeet shredding gajars

SHe was seen on the sets of "Pati hi Parmeshwar" lovingly fanning Abhi with a pankha..as it was so hot on the sets, meanwhile uncomplainingly drenched in sweat.....herself. Naari ho to aisi..
